Legendary pro angler, Shaw Grigsby spoke at the monthly meeting on January 12. There were over 100 club members present. Shaw stayed well after the meeting was adjourned to answer questions and demonstrate the tying of his preferred knots. As always, Shaw was receptive to questions during his presentation and answered them in a cordial manner. Every question was treated as a “very good question.”

He encouraged participants to sign up early so he would be able to budget prizes. He also asked for volunteers to serve as judges at the three retention ponds that will be fished.
Steve Felix, Fishing Trip Chairman, spoke about the upcoming trip to the Withlacoochee, including the Rainbow River, Dunnellon, FL (See the website calendar.)
