Bass Fishing Report Harris Chain
On Sep 29th an angler I know fished the Harris Chain allegedly catching 20-25 bass stating that his best 5 may have gone 9.5 lbs. The very next day he only caught 2. Different results may have been due to the weather. On the 29th it was drizzly & breezy all day. On the 30th it was sunny & bright.
On Oct 1st I went to Little Lake Harris and had a plethera of rods on the deck in an attempt to conjure up a bite only to catch 3 that weren’t even worth an honorable mention. I did talk to a guy at the ramp upon leaving & we compared stories. His doubled mine but he said all were dinks.
Also heard that 2 months ago 3 manatees were seen in the Apopka Beauclair Canal. I videod 1 in Lake Griffin on Aug 31st. How many do we have ???? Who knows….but if you see any in the Harris Chain take a picture/video of it and let us know. If we have 3 I pray that they’re all the same sex.
