L-R…. Grady Maynard, John Franklin, & Nicholas Gutschick, from Southern Tackleworks in Tavares, sent me the following report:
Bass are starting post spawn so try a lipless crank bait in wild shiner, black gold, chrome black, or chrome blue. However, due to the strange weather this season many bass are still bedding. With the full moon last night most bass should have moved on the bed. The next few days will be great for bed fishing. A couple of weeks ago the Crappie bite seemed to have died off…. they turned back on last week but everyone stopped fishing. Those who suffered through the dry week are reaping the rewards. Everyone needs to get back on the lake…..Thanks – Nicholas Gutschick
